he wanted love - but why
instead of rolling over
he died in tar not clover
the lady killed the spy
soon after did she cry
a lover who lies still
cannot fulfill her will
because she was in need
regrets she had indeed!

I would have preferred to die in clover, but the
plots of operas insist on sinister endings,
by the way, I hear her singing this beautiful
aria (wile crying)(which is possible) und thank you
for all the background information .... (*-*) Inge
erlag einer römischen Hure grad so:
Er fand sie erotisch,
doch sie - patriotisch -
begrub ihn - geteert - irgendwie wo. :-)
Das hat mir nun "einfach" nur Spaß gemacht! :-)
