the two persons are too timid, too suspicious, too wrapped in their own personalities that there is no chance to leave the relative safety of their homes to learn to know one another. Thus they'll stay in the same way to the end of time.

das ist eine sehr einfühlsam verfasste, traurig schöne Liebesballade, wobei der Zustand "hinter Mauern" wohl aus der Sicht BEIDER Protagonisten empfunden wird ...
