In youth; Fraser River fast water tugboats;prospecting in northern BC; McKenzie river tugboats; Great lakes freighter(helmsman;, hold 60 ton Captain license……Lived most of my life in BC in the Chilcotin worked at building log houses(35 years) commercial fishing ,out of Bella Coola(8 years), Guiding mountain horse packing trips (hunters and tourists)10 years , ranching (10 years) Now spend winters restoring 100 year old casa in a mountain mission town in Mexico. Worked on a Mexican ranch for a year.
Writing experience: One self- published book about working on a Mexican ranch which pays not quite enough to keep me in beer
Current writing……….one book, many short stories… just beginning to look for publisher interest
