The Cruelty of Forced Existence!

No soul should suffer pain’s relentless chain,
Trapped in a body worn and wracked with strife.
Yet laws, blind guardians, only prolong the bane,
Clinging to dogma, they imprison life.

Let those who preach of sacred life’s demand
Feel agony no drug can soothe away.
Let them endure what they don’t understand—
Would they still claim it’s just to force delay?

The right to die must stand as law’s decree—
A right enshrined in every nation’s code.
In constitutions, let it stated be:
Each soul decides when it will drop its load.

No creed, no court should keep us bound in chains
When ending life is what a soul desires.
True justice grants release from needless pains,
Not forcing life through suffering’s cruel fires.

This isn’t murder, it’s a final choice,
To silence screams when all hope has been lost.
In granting peace, we give the voiceless voice,
Not cruelty disguised as moral cost.

Years bleed away, as countless sufferers plead—
For mercy’s blade, for release from the pain.
Yet courts and preachers quibble over creed,
As bodies crumble, and hearts break in vain.

How many more must writhe in needless throes
While conscience stalls behind a veil of lies?
What justice claims this torture should impose
When death’s release is what the dying prize?

Their life is theirs alone to freely give;
To rob them of that right’s the deepest theft.
What worth is there in forcing one to live
When every moment drains what little's left?

The time has come for reason to prevail,
For hearts to soften where the truth is plain.
Lift the high barriers, end the bitter trail—
Let suffering find its rest without disdain.

To those who stand in judgment, turn and see—
The wounds are real, the pleas are not in jest.
To deny this right’s to claim brutality;
Compassion calls for death’s relieving rest.
