WHEN SHE WAKES UP

 I would like to rest
cradled by fantastic dreams
but there are so many things
waiting for me
that chase me
even before
a new dawn wails.
Manuela sleeps
but I can't sleep.
When she wakes up
I will overcome myself
so that in her life
in her memories
forever I will remain.
On this form me a lightless night,
I ask you
Mother Moon
that your silver sparkles
among the remotest
Orphisms of the sky
so that your lips
in the new day that dawns
another
sweet smile
give me.
Please sparkle
o Mother Moon
as never
thou hast done.
I would like Manuela to recite
all the poems I wrote to her
and for her.
I will ask the stars,
the universe,
I will ask them
to grant me silence
that silence
that no one has ever experienced
so that her voice
resounds in the Creation
among the galaxies
beyond the black holes
up there
where the human cannot imagine
where the human cannot glide.
If the stars are sleeping
I will wake them up for her voice;
they must hear.
And those stars
then
I will hug
and her love
I will embrace it.
With her
I will travel the meanders of the
brightest heavens
and we will dance
because she longs to be happy
because she does not know what hate is.
Then
with brushes made of breeze
we will paint all the stars, the planets,
the galaxies, the black holes
because Manuela loves painted canvases
and gently, we will grasp
the roots of the Stars
that announce the beginning
of a tenuous spring.
In the sky, we will build a bed
to make love
when the gossipy stars
then
will newly go back to sleep.
With Manuela
I fly through the sky
here is a star
here's another one
Manuela knows no malice
she is serene
she is authentic.
She loves me
always always.
Manuela is a fantasy of the sky
is the sea
she is a night breeze.
She knows no evil
is my whole life
she is my delirium.
Manuela is.
