Last night I dreamed of us againI couldn't fall asleep
it's too precious to imagine
that you would never leave.
It's a future that will never be
of that I am aware
but at night just before I sleep
it's too daring not to dare.
Too many different endings
yes, they're only in my head
but to dream this little dream
is all that I will ever get.
Yes, I've given up on us
yet I'm scared to see you go.
And I know I will regret this
but I can't just give up hope.
