March 2008, Palestine
Miriam,
mother in Gaza,
seeing her young children
stumbling,
falling down on the road
to the roar of Israeli war planes in the air.
Miriam,
kissing her dead sons' eyes,
in that moment her universe fell.
Miriam,
I hear your voice
ever
in my bad dreams,
Miriam
calling Allah for justice,
screaming: Revenge,
crying in desolation.
And then
out comes the gun-man,
the „terrorist“,
killing the settlers' sons,
giving his own live
proudly
in memory
of all the Gaza Ghetto’s
lost children.
