A Couple of Dollars

Shelly was a beautiful young woman from a well bred wealthy family and
Weston was a handsome and smart young man working his way through
school.  They met at a party. fell in love-Wed.  Then went on a honeymoon
in Brazil.  They rented a luxury motel room. For a time they would keep the
room service jumping; mostly drinks!  then they'd hang a sign on the  outside
of the door"  do not disturb"  Maid service only once a week!  Early in the morning,
Weston would leave his room, race to the pool-swim a lap or two.  And Shelly
would rise late and go lie by the pool and soak up the sun for hours.  Then
things changed; no more request for room service!  No more request for maid
service!  The "do not disturb" sign had been hanging on the room door for more
than seven days.  The service personnel was becoming concerned!  They
voiced their concern to the motel manager.  The motel manager gave them
permission to enter the room.  Knock first!  then enter.  The service personnel
knocked.  Then they unlocked the door to the room and entered.  They found whiskey
bottles and glasses lying all around.  The room was smelly and the bed was very
untidy!  Two dollars and fifty cents was lying on the floor.  The couple had fled!
