Awakening

Some grass beneath my bare feet
sunlight breaking through my lids
making my eyes twinkle
fresh air the elexier of life
streaming into my lounges
some wind is blowing
whirling softly through my hair
I feel like I have not felt very often
before,
kind of inner silence
kind of balance, nothing to disturb
everything peaceful everywhere
the day's just begun
and I'm happy to be a part of it
lucky for the chance to live it
to be here, to feel it, to enjoy my life
on that beautiful morning...
